A Dream Becomes Reality. One person’s story, and why she is reaching out to help others.

Our 3 Missions

The reason why we have three missions is that they are all near and dear to our founder.

on Immigration.

I am a first-generation immigrant, and I understand firsthand the financial and systemic barriers that come with that journey. I’ve been through it myself—I know the burdens of cost, paperwork, and uncertainty that so many face.

People with grit and determination don’t lack the drive to succeed; they often just need an extra push—a bit of support to help them move forward, rather than constantly feeling like they’re taking one step forward and two steps back.

One of the biggest obstacles for many immigrants is simply the cost of citizenship. Many never become citizens not because they don’t want to, but because they can’t afford the high filing fees. No one should be denied the opportunity for a better future simply due to financial barriers.

This is why Myriad Impact Foundation is committed to helping remove these obstacles—so that those who have already worked so hard to build a life here can finally secure the opportunities, rights, and stability they deserve.

on Education.

I paid for my own education, and I understand firsthand the financial burden that comes with it. Fortunately, in the early 2000s, college was significantly more affordable than it is today. I was able to manage my tuition through a monthly payment program with Cal State LA, a resource that made higher education accessible to me.

However, in 2004-2005, tuition costs skyrocketed, making it impossible for me to continue my education and pursue a master’s degree. Looking at today’s tuition rates, I know that if I were in the same position now, affording college would be nearly impossible.

This experience has fueled my commitment to breaking financial barriers for students. I understand the struggle, and I want to help ensure that cost is not the reason someone is unable to pursue their dreams.

on safe access to information and healthcare for women.

With the overturning of Roe v. Wade, women face greater challenges than ever in making informed choices about their futures. The need for reliable information and safe access to healthcare has never been more urgent.

While Myriad Impact Foundation is still in its early stages, we are committed to exploring impactful ways to support women in this evolving landscape. Though no formal projects have been launched under this mission yet, we recognize the myriad of opportunities to make a difference.

As we grow, Myriad Impact remains dedicated to advocacy, education, and resource accessibility, ensuring that all women—regardless of circumstance—have the knowledge and support they need to make empowered decisions about their health and futures.
